Security at Math Things.
Math Things edTech maintains a Security & Infrastructure function responsible for protecting the software and systems used to build and operate our products.
Security function
Math Things Security & Infrastructure currently consists of Cecily Rowan Mercer, William Henderson, and Persephone.
William Henderson is Math Things' founder and legal owner, with responsibility for company-level contractual and regulatory matters.
Scope
Security work covers Math Things-owned software and supporting infrastructure, including:
- application code and repositories;
- authentication and authorization systems;
- APIs and hosted services;
- deployment and development infrastructure;
- vulnerability identification and remediation;
- patch validation and configuration review.
Security testing is limited to Math Things-owned systems and systems that Math Things is explicitly authorized to assess.
